Trustee Network

The Trustee Network is for Trustees, Management Committee members and Boards of Directors who are responsible for the governance of community groups and organisations in North Tyneside.

The aim of the Network is for Trustees to come together, share information and experiences and improve their knowledge of governance related issues.

Date of next meeting: Tuesday 21 September 2010 at 12pm

Recruiting new Trustees for your organisation
From a recent survey conducted by VODA, feedback showed that VCS organisations and groups are struggling to recruit new people to join their Management Committees or Boards of Trustees. In the Trustee Network meeting, we will address this issue and explore a range of ways to help your organisation bring new people on Board, including:

  • identifying skills gaps and the ideal role
  • attracting people and promoting the vacancy
  • planning the recruitment process

To book your place, contact the Development Worker  by Monday 13 September
