Payroll Service
Payroll can be a real nightmare - especially for small organisations.
SSP, Maternity Pay, overtime, holiday pay, tax tables and tax codes,
P45s and P60s can all be very confusing if you do not have the detailed
knowledge and experience required to run your own payroll. And if you
get it wrong it's your staff who suffer.
Mainly in response to our recent questionnaire, VODA has started to run
an inexpensive payroll service for voluntary and charitable
organisations based in North Tyneside. No organisation is too small or
too large to benefit from the service. You simply supply us with some
basic details about your employees and we calculate their monthly pay
and print their pay slips. You then pay your staff.
VODA's Payroll Service will also prepare an employee's P45 (required by
those leaving your employment) and the end of year tax statement the

What is the Payroll Service?
VODA has launched a new service for groups that have employees but which
do not have the necessary expertise to operate a payroll system
What will VODA do?
VODA will calculate your employees' pay and prepare their wage slips.
Who is eligible?
Any voluntary or charitable organisation based in North Tyneside.
How much does it cost?
VODA is trying to keep the cost down as much as possible. There is an
annual fee of £40 and a monthly charge of £6 per employee for 1-4
people, or £4 per employee if you employ 5 or more people.
What about sick pay?
We can handle your sick pay scheme along with Statutory Sick Pay and
Maternity Pay. We are also able to calculate P45's and P60's.
