is looking for a flexible person to undertake this new, interesting and
challenging role. You will be an experienced finance person with a sound
working knowledge of Sage Line 50. This role will be for 16 hours per
week - for the remainder of the work you will work with our Volunteering
Team tracking volunteers and recording their experience.

Volunteer Centre reports increase in skilled volunteers since the onset
of the rescission. The team are now looking to place these volunteers
with groups and organisations who need and can support them.

North
Tyneside Council "Working With the Community and Voluntary Sector"
Over the
past three years, North Tyneside Council have
held 'working with' events which focus on issues identified by the
community and voluntary sector. At the latest meeting on 23 March 2009,
the topic was 'what makes a thriving voluntary and community sector?'.
In order to address some of the issues raised at the event, the Council
will be holding
a number of short project group meetings on a range of topics (including
Procurement, Skills, Volunteering, Community Engagement and much more).
