The Pentagon Partnership is the
strategic partnership for Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS)
involvement in the economic regeneration of Tyne and Wear. We boost
the ability of the VCS to become involved in, and influence, the
economic regeneration agenda. We do this by sharing information,
running events, workshops and meetings, and securing representation
for the sector at a wide variety of influential forums and
partnerships.
Economic regeneration is about halting
economic decline
by increasing employment, encouraging business growth
and investment, and by tackling economic disadvantage. The VCS does
all of these things, and the Pentagon Partnership
is committed to enhancing this work, communicating
its value, and using our position to influence policy.
